Super Sewer

Super Sewer

Posted on: 2 Aug 2019

Question: How do you provide ventilation to a super sewer that is buried 35m below ground? There’s also the requirement for the vent to have a diameter of 1200mm and to be held centrally within a shaft whilst concrete is poured around it. Just to make things a little more difficult, the pipe needs to vent methane and hydrogen sulphides for a period of at least 120 years?

Answer: You employ Plasflow Limited.
